How to finish a website

How does a site get finished?

After all the months of development, meetings, reviews, and changes a site is only finally done when the site is visible to the world. The DNS settings must point to the new server and work.

While this may seem easy it is actually the point at Whig the site is the least done. Many things can go wrong…the hosting package may not be setup to receive the web traffic properly. Perhaps there is a wildcats set or mail setting hat you forgot to check.

You could saythat a site is finally done when nothing more is wrong. When there are no more mistakes….because there will be many errors that need fixing. Anyone that says they are perfect would be trying to hard to impress.

A site is finally done when the stress is gone.
